POSSE Document & File Management Software for Government

POSSE’s Document and File Management Module dramatically simplifies the storage, retrieval, and archival of documents. Any documents that are collected as part of a workflow can be stored in POSSE, with links to the workflow process created automatically by POSSE.

POSSE has built-in support for major third party Enterprise Document Management Systems to allow redlining, document comparison, and document redaction. EDMS functions can be used to do document markup without losing the intuitive links between the workflow and the document that POSSE provides.

Scriptable Document Acquisition Methods

  • Supports scanning from within the POSSE application
  • Supports mail merge to Word Document from POSSE (supports user completion/edit)
  • Supports PDF document generation from POSSE (no user modification possible)
  • Supports document and file upload (multiple document types) from local storage, email, etc.

Multiple, Configurable Document Management Schemes

  • Documents content may be parsed and indexed (using Oracle Text)
  • Documents may be stored in POSSE, or in 3rd Party Electronic Document Management System
  • Documents automatically linked to POSSE—no need to specify document indexing tags or meta-data
  • Documents open in standard applications (Word, Excel, Adobe, Visio, etc.)

POSSE-PADD (Posse Archive Document Database)

  • Archival of documents to external database on a configurable schedule
  • Automatic recovery of documents from archival (transparent to users)
