POSSE PLS integrates seamlessly with an ArcGIS Server solution. The map interface does not require any specialized services or configuration, nor does it require migration of parcel data from the City’s current GIS system. POSSE consumes standard ArcGIS Server map services, geocoding services, and geometry services. The integration between GIS and POSSE occurs dynamically. Information can be pulled from GIS into POSSE or from POSSE into the City’s GIS application. Mapping functionality is available where appropriate within the application. Users can “locate” any application, permit, or other workflow on a map; users can conduct geospatial searches using the map viewer; users can mark notification buffer areas on a map; and users can select unaddressed or non-address location from a map among other capabilities.
