Current software inventory consists of numerous non-integrated tools ‘knitted together’ to maintain the required service portfolio, resulting in the following:

• Impeded data accessibility
• Antiquated and/or inconsistent user experience(s)
• Performance issues and upkeep challenges
• Inflated licensing and maintenance costs
• Inability to streamline service workflows for improved efficiencies
• Continued reliance on physical service desk infrastructure and processes

POSSE PLS is a is an enterprise-level application with Internal, Public, and Admin websites that contain all the enterprise-level functionality. POSSE PLS supports a virtually unlimited number and variety of workflows, thus enabling jurisdictions to consolidate many applications onto the POSSE PLS Enterprise platform. The City of Edmonton has over 250 workflows (applications, permits, cases, etc.) currently automated and uses the POSSE in all City departments with more than 2,500 internal staff using the application on a regular basis.
