Durham Region Selects “POSSE LMS” Land Management System

EDMONTON, Alberta – Computronix is pleased to announce that The Regional Municipality of Durham as the result of a competitive process for the supply, integration, delivery, implementation, training and ongoing support of a Land Development Tracking Software System, has selected POSSE LMS. The Region will use POSSE LMS to manage their land development processes from initial application through to final approval and subsequent trend analyses.

Located within the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in North America, The Regional Municipality of Durham encompasses eight municipalities with a total population of over 682,000 citizens. The web-based POSSE LMS solution will enable the Region to streamline the application process, delivering improved accessibility and usability for developers, agencies, and planners alike.

“We are looking forward to serving the Region of Durham in the delivery of their new POSSE LMS solution,” said Gord Meeberg, VP Business Development, Computronix. “Like Halton Region, ON, previously, this award reinforces the ability of POSSE LMS to meet the diverse requirements of a forward-thinking upper-tier GTA municipality striving to meet critical infrastructure needs in one of the most densely populated and fastest-growing urban regions in North America. Recognized as ‘A Great Place to Grow’ by citizens and investors alike, the Region of Durham is taking another positive step in that direction with the selection of POSSE LMS for the Region’s critical land management processes.”

The Regional Municipality of Durham joins The Regional Municipality of Halton, Henrico County, VA, Halifax Regional Municipality, NS, City of Pittsburgh, PA, and the City of Vancouver, BC, as recent clients selecting the POSSE LMS suite for their land management solution.
