Computronix Announces Winners for 2016 POSSE Innovation Awards

DENVER, CO – Computronix is pleased to recognize the city of Dallas Public Works and the BC Ministry of Forestry, Land and Natural Resource Operations as the winners of the 2016 POSSE Customer Innovation Awards. The awards were presented September 15th at the Computronix Client Conference (C3) in Denver, Colorado.

Dallas Public Works was the recipient of Innovative Use of POSSE, which goes to the client who best uses the core POSSE workflow platform in a new and creative way. The city won for their Right-of-Way Management System. The system allows users to apply online for street cut or blocking permits, and provides staff with sophisticated GIS-based tools to determine if there are time or spatial-based conflicts.

The BC Ministry of Forestry, Land and Natural Resource Operations was the recipient of Best Use of Technology, given to the client that best enhances their use of POSSE with complementary technology. Their Limited Entry Hunting site with grid and map integration using Leaflet technology, provides a highly interactive and intuitive experience for hunters to enter specific limited hunting draws.

Dallas Public Works and BC Ministry of Forestry, Land and Natural Resource Operations representatives were onsite at C3 an annual user conference for Computronix clients, to receive their awards. From September 14-16, 2016, more than 100 attendees from across the United States and Canada gathered to learn more about the POSSE solution, share insights with other users, and see demonstrations of upcoming POSSE product features and releases.
