LAKEWOOD, Colo. – Computronix is pleased to recognize Hamilton County, Indiana and Broward County, Florida as the winners of the 2014 Computronix Customer Innovation Awards. The awards were presented September 19 at the Computronix Client Conference (C3) and awards gala in Lakewood, Colorado.
Hamilton County was this year’s recipient of the “Best Use of POSSE” award. This award recognizes innovative use of the Computronix POSSE platform, which automates, integrates, monitors and enforces business process rules. Using POSSE, Hamilton County created a solution for automating the requirements associated with the registration and monitoring of parolees. With the solution, documents are uploaded by external users to the County’s website and internal users can easily track activities to ensure compliance with county and state parole procedures.
Broward County was the recipient of the “Best Use of Technology” award. This award recognizes the innovative application of POSSE along with complementary technology. Broward County created a solution for meeting notification requirements with elevator inspections using QR codes. Inspectors place a pre-printed QR code on-site, and the client can scan the code to determine a “pass” or “fail” of the inspection, along with a link to the actual inspection details. The QR code links back into POSSE and can be tracked as part of overall inspection procedures. This solution eliminates the need for an inspector to print out a separate notification of inspection, creating time and cost efficiencies.
“The innovative uses of POSSE technology by our clients demonstrate the true flexibility and configurability of the POSSE platform,” said Jim den Otter, Computronix Chief Technology Officer. “POSSE solves real issues affecting government organizations today, and we are always excited to see the creative solutions generated by our clients using POSSE.”
Hamilton County and Broward County representatives were onsite at C3, an annual user conference for Computronix clients, to receive their awards. From September 17-19, 2014, more than 100 attendees from across the United States and Canada gathered to learn more about the POSSE solution, share insights with other users, and see demonstrations of upcoming POSSE product features and releases.
