Alberta Environment to use Earthwon system for Water Infrastructure Management

March 31, 2004

Computronix is pleased to announce that the Government of Alberta has selected Earthwon® software, through an open bidding process, to help support Alberta's water management infrastructure.

Earthwon is enterprise environmental software for public or private-sector environmental agencies. It used primarily to manage inspection activities, reporting, compliance monitoring, and other related regulatory activities.

"Earthwon's remote and Internet technology will allow Alberta Environment to easily manage their information on water infrastructures, inspections, and maintenance and capital planning business processes," said Don Smallwood, Vice President of Business Development for Computronix.

Earthwon combines workflow, mobile computing, browser-based access, GIS map integration and document management into a one-stop environmental system. Earthwon is built on the international award-winning POSSE® software from Computronix®.

Earthwon's business is to provide enterprise environmental software systems to regulatory agencies across North America and elsewhere in the world.
