Laura Brown | Day In the Life Series

For our “Day in the Life” series, we interview Computronix employees, affectionately known as “Computroids”.  Recently we asked Laura Brown, newest member of our Solutions Consultant team, a few questions to get to know her better.

Before working at Computronix, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

Working at Tiffany and Company.  I had several fun experiences including proposals in the store, getting to wear amazing jewelry for special events, and assisting customers with selecting pieces to commemorate major life events.

What has been your favorite project at Computronix?

Just after starting with Computronix, I had the opportunity to attend a demo in Florida and the public evaluation sessions that follow.  It was incredibly rewarding to hear that beginning with the RFP and oral presentations, Computronix clearly communicates our values of respect, trust, and serve.

What advice would you give to your 13-year-old self?

Listen more closely to your parents – they are a lot smarter than you think.

How do you find Computronix to be different or unique from other companies?

Transparency from the Executive Team

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned during your time with Computronix?

The positive effect that it can have when a company places value on their employees as individuals.
