City and County of Honolulu

POSSE success stories keep making the news in Honolulu. Recently, the City and County implemented HONline, using POSSE Internet, for certain online building permit activities. A media release from the County and an article in the Honolulu Advertiser highlight the immediate success of the project.

To see how the City and County of Honolulu integrates GIS and POSSE on the Internet, go to their website at http://gis.hicentral.com. Zoom in on the map, find a property, use the "Identify" button, and click on a property. All available information associated with the property will be displayed on the right of the window with additional links. This information is from the City's POSSE system. POSSE Internet is also being used for on-line permitting and related activities.
