POSSE Technology DatasheetsThe POSSE system is made up of various end-user and administration applications, and optional technology modules that manage the functionality, configuration and deployment of your business solutions. – Dowload the POSSE Technology Datasheets – Core SystemWorkflowWorkflow is core to the POSSE system for managing business process automation in your organization. POSSE Workflow guides users through your business process workflows, from initiation to completion ensuring that each work step is completed correctly and consistently based on your business rules and requirements. POSSE Workflow is used to configure and deploy your business applications in single or multiple end-user environments: browser-based, mobile (wireless or disconnected), and client-server technologies. InternetWeb browser-based applications have quickly become the preferred platform for computer-based work. POSSE’s Internet platform is a powerful Web application server, providing a browser-based presentation of POSSE workflows and data utilizing standard browser functionality. Data IntegrationPOSSE data integration features manage all interfaces between POSSE and other databases, including legacy systems. As new versions of POSSE are released, these core integration components ensure that existing interfaces continue to work as expected. Reporting WarehouseThe POSSE Reporting Warehouse is used to enhance reporting capabilities. POSSE data is automatically transformed and copied to a separate Oracle server to provide a quick and cost-effective reporting warehouse solution. Users are able to access, analyze and report on relevant data while ensuring peak performance on the main POSSE server. SchedulingPOSSE features a variety of scheduling functions. Processes such as batch reporting and printing can be automatically added to the server queue as part of a workflow and run according to a predefined schedule or during off-peak hours. System ConfigurationThe POSSE configuration application is a GUI-based tool that allows trained POSSE configuration technicians to configure (build) and manage an organization’s business processes (workflows) used by POSSE end users. Additional POSSE system tools are used to manage configuration version control, deployment, and other maintenance tasks. Optional ModulesMobile PCThe POSSE Mobile PC Module is a standalone client-server application for field users who need to work disconnected from the main network. POSSE Mobile PC provides the power and flexibility needed for robust mobile computing using popular Windows-based tablet or notebook computers. POSSE Mobile PC is ideal for mobile staff such as inspectors and code enforcement officers, case workers, or service and work crews. Mobile PDAThe POSSE Mobile PDA Module utilizes many of the same client-server features as the Mobile PC Module but is designed for smaller and more simplified application. POSSE Mobile PDA is ideal for less complex mobile tasks – such as simple inspections or enforcement activities – when the information to be collected is basic and less reference/historical data is required to be downloaded. Map DisplayThe POSSE Map Display Module provides full, real-time client-server interaction with geographic information system (GIS) data. This optional Module allows POSSE client-server business application users to access GIS maps and data within POSSE for quick, spatially-based searches and more. POSSE Internet also integrates with browser-based GIS applications, but does not require this module. |
